1.20.0 — AI Assistant governance, file workflows & bulk editing

This release deepens the AI Assistant with tenant-level governance and broader context, adds file-centric workflows, and brings quality-of-life improvements to managing test cases.

AI Assistant cost controls. Tenant admins can now set best-effort budget limits that govern AI Assistant spending across the whole tenant. See The AI Assistant.

Assistant searches docs and execution logs. The AI Assistant can now search the product documentation and your execution logs to ground its answers and fixes. See The AI Assistant.

AI sessions for execution plans. Persistent, resumable AI Assistant sessions are now available for execution plans, not just individual tests. See Execution Plans.

Complete, attributed assistant history. Every change an assistant makes is now persisted, and versions produced with AI are clearly identified as AI-generated. See Change History.

Scripted file access and shared file results. Scripts can now access files directly, and file results produced by one test can be shared with and reused by other tests. See Test Data.

Multi-select and bulk delete for test cases. Select multiple test cases and delete them in a single action. See Test Cases.

Recording calls snippets and functions with parameters. While recording, you can now call snippets and functions and pass parameters to them inline. See Recording.

Compact lightbox navigation across a run. Step through the screenshots of every step in a run from a single compact lightbox. See Execution.

PDF export saving and auto-open. Exported PDFs are now saved and opened automatically once they are ready.

Polish and fixes. Sticky tabs keep navigation in view, a clearer visual split separates test cases, manual tests default to the Default execution variant when one is available, tests started from a folder are no longer left unnamed, and empty activities can no longer be saved.
